Creating Lists for Bulk Text Messaging
Before you can start sending out bulk text messages, you must create an opt-in list of contacts you would like to send the messages to. To create a new list, click the “My Lists” link. You are now ready to create a new list of contacts. These lists can be edited throughout the process, depending on the user’s preference. Type in the name of the list in the area provided, and click “Create New List” when you have chosen your desired name. You can give the list a description based on what group you want to send messages to. There are fields included underneath the description that will hold the information of the group members such as name, company and any other information needed. Note that these fields can be changed to suit your particular needs. When finished, click on “Update” and your list template is created and ready to have contacts added.
Adding Contacts to Bulk Messaging List
To add a contact to your list, click on “My Lists” and find the list you would like to add members to. When you’ve found your desired list, click on “Add/Edit Users” right next to the description of the group. On the next page, click on “Add New User” and begin to add information content. When finished, click “Continue” to view the information again and click “Continue” once more. These steps are to be repeated to add more members. There is no limit to how many people can be added to one group.

Sending Bulk Text Messages
In order to send a WebTXT message right away, just click on the link titled “New SMS” on the left of the webpage. Select the list that will be receiving the message, and type in the message. When finished, click on the “Submit” button on the bottom. Give your message one more look and send it off in a flash with the “Submit Now” button. In seconds your message reaches the many important people of your contact list.
